Group BBQ in Cottage

매년 여름이 되면 열리는 행사가 바로 그룹 바베큐다.
조나스 교수님 제자가 스티브 교수님이고 그래서 두 교수님 연구그룹 멤버들은 한 식구로써 실험
실이라든지 이런저런 행사에 늘 함께 움직인다. 암튼, 올해에도 어김없이 그룹 베베큐를 알리는
메일이 왔다. 재작년에는 참석해서 아주 즐겁고 신기한 1박2일을 보내고 왔는데 작년에는 어찌어
찌 하다보니 못갔었다. 올해에는 꼭 다시한번 가보고 싶은 곳이다.

그곳은 굉장히 넓은 호수를 끼고 있는 멋진 별장이다.
조나스 교수님 공동소유의 섬이 호수 한가운데에 떠있고, 모터보트, 워터스키, 카약을 즐길 수 있
으며 물론 각종 바베큐를 맛볼 수 있는건 기본이다. 세계 각지에서 모여든 학생들이 준비해오는
그 나라 고유의 음식들이 푸짐하게 차려지며 친절하신 사모님의 서브도 아주 배려깊고 훌륭하시
다. 이번 캠프에 가게 된다면 워터스키에 한번 도전해봐야겠다.

Hi,
The group BBQ will once again be held this year at Prof. Jonas's cottage in the country, ab
out a 1 hour drive from Montreal. The date will be Saturday 26th July and we encourage eve
ryone working for Prof. Yue or Jonas to come, along with their wives/girlfriends/mistresses
etc. plus associated offspring. As usual, we'll be having an international lunch, so please b
ring some food local to your country and some drinks, plus a swimming costume for those
that want to go water-skiing or cayaking on the lake. Transport will be provided if necessar
y and you're welcome to camp or stay at the cottage on the Friday or Saturday night, spac
e permitting...Please let me know if you can attend as soon as possible, and I'll
furnish you with additional details nearer the time, happy camping
